Unfortunately this is quite obviously incorrect. TLDR: The system is working as intended, and Valve's decision was the correct one. The licensing agreement even specifies that the game is subject to change.įinally, there are certainly people for whom outrage campaigns are relevant. They paid for the game, which they still have and is fundamentally the same game it's always been. Also, the suggestion that paid-for content was removed is also mistaken, as nobody paid specifically for underage panty shots. There was no censorship, just a creative decision by the devs, made on their own terms and not as the result of outside pressure or demands. Thirdly, the narrative being pushed by these reviews is fundamentally incorrect and misleading. It's clear these are not simply about the game itself but about taking a principled stance about the way they think things "should" be, which is very much off-topic. Personal attacks against the devs, calls for boycotts, literal endorsements of review bombing as a protest tactic. In addition, it is very clear from the reviews themselves that they are trying to punish the devs over a perceived wrongdoing. A few missing underage panty shots is not relevant for the general user.
